The City of Arts and Sciences deserves a long visit, with the Oceanographic Museum, the Submarine City and the Sciences Museum. Very close to Valencia, Cullera, the valley of Valldigna and the villages of Tabernes, Benifarió and Simat deserve a short trip, to see things like the Monastery of Santa Maria or the impressive panoramic view that it is possible to see from Cullera's viewing point. For sun and beach lovers, visit, without doubting it, Benidorm. Very close, in Guadalest, you can admire the old town, the ruins of the Castle or Orduña's House - Museum.
The Valencian gastronomy is presided, internationally, by its rices: ‘a banda’, in the oven, with beans and turnips, in casserole, with meat, etc. They will do the delights of the visitors in any place of the province. The paella, humble dish from the huts of the Valencian gardens, jumped to fame in the 19th century to be consolidated today as one of the richest and most famous dishes in Spain.
